Dear Parents and Interested Community Members,

Welcome to our school community at McAuley Catholic Central School, Tumut, NSW, where our vision is “Flowing Together Through Faith and Learning.”

McAuley is a coeducational Catholic Central School made up of two campuses. The primary campus caters for boys and girls in multiple streams across K-Year 6 and the secondary campus for dual streams in each of Years 7, 8, 9 and 10.

One Principal is in charge of the two campuses at McAuley.  An Assistant Principal, Primary Campus Coordinator, two K-10 Curriculum Coordinators and a Religious Education Coordinator work as Executive members assisting the Principal with the management of the school.

All staff at McAuley will be guiding your children in the Catholic tradition and reinforcing Christian values. There is an expectation that all our young people will leave our school community at the end of Year 10 with a well-developed sense of optimism and compassion. This will enable them to make a difference to our world and develop positive relationships within the local and wider communities. All staff at McAuley work together with the families to support and encourage the faith development of our pupils and we are proud of the Christian atmosphere that exists within our school community.

It is our aim at McAuley to create a sense of belonging, which will nurture your child’s growth and help create a healthy self-esteem that will support them towards building a happy and fulfilling life.  Your involvement in your child’s education, whenever possible, is very necessary and most welcome.

We invite you to attend and participate in our many and varied activities, including our celebrations, information meetings, social gatherings, excursions and sports carnivals and to assist with class activities such as reading, craft, maths, canteen and sport.  We accept help and p[participation in whatever way you may wish to support our school community.
