We’re excited to announce that Work Experience is scheduled for Week 10 of this term – from 22 to 26 September. This is a valuable opportunity for students to explore potential career paths, gain hands-on industry experience, and develop important workplace skills.

To ensure a smooth and successful placement, students are reminded of the following important information:

Students who wish to undertake placements in Forestry, Veterinary Clinics, or locations that require living away from home must complete a Special Approval Form. This form must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the placement. This means these forms should be lodged no later than mid-August.

All students participating in Work Experience must complete the required Student Placement Record and accompanying documentation. These can be collected from Mrs Pearce in Careers Hub or on MCC Year 10 Work Experience Google Classroom.

It’s essential that all paperwork is submitted on time and correctly completed to ensure your placement is approved and covered under school policy.
